Welcome! It has been a long time coming, but I have finally decided to document some of the exciting things I have been working on to eventually start my new business, Blossom and Branch.

My name is Kristy and I live in North Carolina.
This blog is going to be a place for me to document all my projects. Primarily, my dream to start producing couture flowers for florists and designers. I have no formal training in horticulture, but I have a knack for getting things to grow. After seeing all the amazing flower options in the seed catalogs, I was determined to teach myself how to grow things from seed. I also am in love with roses and peonies. We only have a small 0.25 acre yard, but I am determined to see what all I can get growing within it and maybe someday take it to a bigger level.
This blog will also follow along with my many hobbies including making floral crowns, crafting papers flowers, as well as photography.
